“Launched by Quebec’s Great Divide Corp. at the recent American Toy Fair, the delightful My Friend Huggles line got great reviews from the industry. Six months later, Creative Child, a U.S. consumer magazine, has also endorsed the inspirational series of soft-bodied dolls with one of its prestigious 2012 Top Toy of the Year (Doll Category) Awards. The line includes six individually styled, named and outfitted dolls. Each doll, which stands about the height of an average two year old, comes with a satin ribbon on her back bearing a word representing a positive quality, such as honest, grateful, kind, generous, fair, and cheerful. Little girls, three to six years old, are inspired to explore the virtue of their new best friend at home with a parent and, later, on the Huggles interactive website.
