Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on November 20th of each year. It is observed as a day of worldwide fraternity and understanding between children. It is also a day of activity devoted to promoting the ideals and objectives of the Charter and the welfare of the children of the world.
Take the time to teach your little kids about life in other countries. Explain to them that many kids do not have the same rights and freedoms as they do in their home. Teach them that in other places in the world children work and do not get to go to school. Teach them that there are many kids in this world that live in poor health. Teach them to be grateful for what they have.
